Explore Any Chain with One Account: zkLink Action/magicLink — Community Call with Neil

Last week in our weekly community call session Discord, we had an upbeat chat with the Neil Liew, the PR lead at zkLink, about the future roadmap for zkLink’s new Action and magicLink portal. In this 30-minute session, several major updates were dropped, including an exclusive airdrop teaser into zkLink’s flagship product, magicLinks.

During the conversation, Neil reiterated the zkLink’s team mission: solving fragmentation in crypto for users and developers at all levels. This time, the team were solving fragmentation at the application level using magicLinks. magicLinks is a smart account, Actions and Intents URL generation platform for developers to create impactful change in blockchain UX.

For creators, magicLinks would allow them to create one-click DeFi strategy experiences for users that are cross-chain and cross application. Commissions will also be given to creators if a user interacts with their magicLinks through a customizable commission model.

For users, direct and easy UX, for cross-chain transactions that are hassle free. magicLinks will automatically bridge their funds (and dust) from multiple chains to interact with a protocol on a chain that they don’t have funds on.

In other words magicLinks is going to make Web3 work extremely well and extremely fast.

Finally, the team clarified the relationship between zkLink’s different products, including zkLink X and zkLink Nova. Both are designed to aggregate liquidity and reduce fragmentation, but zkLink X offers a whitelabel solution for enterprises, while zkLink Nova powers the largest aggregated rollup chain in the industry. These products combined with magicLinks create an ecosystem that is poised to revolutionize blockchain UX.
